I had the most interesting outing today. We were trying out crate #3 for me for the car and think we hit a winner, but more about the crates another day.
The plan was to go to Standley Lake. So Mom loaded up me, my crate, my stroller, her camera gear, a bottle of water and some treats and off we went! We drove for about 45 minutes to get there. I was quiet the whole way in the car. I didn’t cry once!
Mom didn’t realize you needed green papers to get in and only had a credit card. They had no way to process the card, so we couldn’t stay. We went out to lunch instead. We had lunch at an outside table at Rock Bottom Brewery. Mom had seafood salad and ordered a slice of ham for me. She also gave me a piece of shrimp and a piece of crab. How’s that for a fantastic lunch!
After lunch we went across the street to the Butterfly Pavilion to walk in their gardens. We could tell walking through the gardens that spring is definitely here!
We took a chance and went inside the Butterfly Pavilion to see if they would let us in to see the butterflies. They did! I had a wonderful time watching them all fly around. And everyone there got a big kick out of me in my stroller. MOL Look at all the gorgeous beautiful butterflies we saw.
We were there for about 20 minutes when someone came over and said the girl at the front made a mistake letting us in since I’m not a service animal. It was ok though. I got to see plenty of butterflies before we had to leave. It was a furry exciting day. I can’t wait for my next outing!
